The inaugural Coastal Challenge Cup took place form 10 – 11 August at Kingswood Golf Estate. Southern Cape’s “B-Teams” in Senior, Mid-Amateur and IPT competed against Western Province “B-Teams” in the same divisions. The final overall results had Southern Cape on a combined 28 points, against Western Province’s 20 points. 11 August: The 2019 Coastal Challenge Cup had some fireworks in the Mid-Amateur Division with Southern Cape’s Mid-Amateur “B-side” beating Western Province’s Mid-Amateur “B-side “12 – 4 over the two day Foursomes, Better Ball and Singles Match Play format. Southern Cape won the Singles Match Play 8 – 0! Fantastic results! 11 August 2019: The inaugural Coastal Challenge Cup had some outstanding results at Kingswood GE with Southern Cape Challenge IPT beating Western Province Challenge IPT 9.5 – 6.5 over the two day Foursomes, Better Ball and Singles Match Play format.
