The 2018/19 Country Districts Order of Merit was won by Brandon Cloete from Pezula Golf Estate. This highly talented Knysna golfer got his amateur status back in October 2018, and since then played consistently good golf with victories at the George Open and Fancourt Open. Oubaai GC 9th June 2019: With his runner up finish in the 2019 Southern Cape Closed Championship, Meyer Potgieter also sealed victory in the tightly contested 2018/2019 Mid-Amateur Order of Merit. Meyer ended up beating Lukas Steyn (Plettenberg Bay CC) and Nicholas Mitchell (George GC) by a few points. Many congratulations Meyer, we are all very proud of you!
