Ben van Wyk defeated Western Province junior Sam Simpson at the first extra hole to lift the Nomads SA Boys Under-18 Match Play title at Humewood Golf Club; credit GolfRSA.

The final Bridge Fund Managers Junior Series (BFMJS) event, for the SOUTH region, took place this past Thursday, the 21st March, at Kingswood Golf Estate.

It took a 6 hole play-off to separate the eventual winner, Calvin Maia, from runner-up Damian Osner. Both players recorded a 68 in regulation play.

They were followed by Jordan Duminy, 69, and then both Ben van Wyk and Martin Vorster on 70.
